Lousiana Public Records Can Come Back to Haunt You
I was going through Louisiana one year back in college and got pulled over because I was speeding. Because I was from out of state, their officers towed my car and took my friend and I into custody. It turned out that my friend had a bag of pot on him that I wasn’t aware of. However, because I was driving the car, they blamed me as well. I forgot all about it because it happened so long ago, until I was transferred to Louisiana for a job. I had to have a criminal background check done when they checked Louisiana Public Records, they found I had a criminal history.
