Animal Lover Studies Online to Become a Vet Tech
I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. As a small child I wanted to pet every dog and cat I saw and take in all the strays I found. After high school graduation, it seemed natural for me to enter a course of study where I could train to work with animals. Veterinary school was too costly and I didn’t want to spend years studying before I could begin my career, so I chose the next best thing. I began researching vet tech schools, especially ones with online programs. During the summer, I worked in a vet’s office evenings and weekends as a kennel attendant. If a took classes online, I could stay at home and continue to work for the vet while I studied for my degree.
