Team Chores
I am a youthworker at a residential treatment center for teenagers. My job includes supervising the kids, planning activities, and doing treatment with them. Every month or so I like to do a team building day with them. We start first thing in the morning, and the whole day is centered on building teamwork, even chores. At chore time, we will put the kids into pairs, and tie their legs together, so that they have to work together to get both chores done. The team who gets theirs done the fastest gets a prize. The kids always complain about the day at the beginning, and end up having a great time by the end.
